Meet Kitty Nolen
Technical experience with a patient, human approach.
Kitty Nolen founded Tech Girls PDX after a powerful family moment with her Uncle Allan, who had advanced dementia and had been unable to communicate for years. During a long-distance visit, a simple phone notepad interaction helped him break through and correct a Chinese character using the back of a fork as a stylus.
That moment showed Kitty how patient technology support can create connection, dignity, and joy for seniors and the families who love them.
Kitty is a former Intel engineering program manager and process engineer. She is PMP-certified and holds a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering.
Kitty is not a healthcare provider. Tech Girls PDX provides technology setup, education, and support.
